found dead on golf course. At first glance it looks dog-like, until you see the hoove-like back feet. What could it be?

Wouldn't mange have damaged the skin too? It's completely un-flawed. It was found in TX during a cold snap so apparently the elements killed it. Poor thing.

Google it. Texas biologist says it is a hairless raccoon. The ears threw me. Looked too big to be a raccoon.

Like I said... a biologist in texas studied it and determined it is a hairless raccoon. he has no idea WHY it is hairless however.

I guess it's possible but the ears on the dog look very long compared to a raccoon's.
