Neighbor lady came over today in a bit of a panic. Said there was a doberman in her yrd and she was afraid of it. I went over and called the dog right up to me. Dog was in great shape...tail and ears done..nails done, and wearing a choke chain...........I told her ( the dog is a female) to sit and she did...told her to lay down and she did...told her to heel and she fell right in beside me. I took her in the house and called the warden ( I know most dogs around here and she is not a local) While waiting for the warden she stayed in the house with the front door wide open...went outside, peed and came back in..layed on a rug quiet and content...........I DO NOT like dobes but I told the warden when they were here to call me if no one claims her.. one of the nicest dogs I have been around in a while.

Thanks for taking her under your wing. Sounds like someone will be looking for her, but if not, hope you get to keep her. Check your local Craigs List too for Lost/Found.

Dog is back with her owner. Guy showed up last night. Said the dobe and his beagle bolted yesterday morning when he let em out before going to work. I told him I saw the beagle but couldn't get close and that his dobe was at the pound. He was relieved. He had the beagle and I assume picked the dobe up this morning.
