Saudi woman seeks divorce after husband's Guantanamo phone slur

The woman made the discovery while examining the list of contacts in her husband's phone when he left it at home one day, the Al-Watan newspaper reported.
The Riyadh newspaper did not name the woman or her husband, whose comparison between life with his wife and life within the detention centre at the US naval base in Cuba may have proved ill judged.
His wife has since decided to end their 17-year marriage and is seeking a divorce.
But the newspaper suggested she might settle for "substantial" financial compensation from her husband and stay married to him.

What was she going through his stuff for? There's more to this than meets the eye and I can't believe it's "news". sheesh.

I don’t know a married man alive who hasn’t referred to his wife – either in jest or perfectly seriously – as “The Warden”, The Old Ball And Chain”, etc… It’s certainly not news, but in this particular instance, in this particular context, it is pretty funny.

At least I thought it was.

Yeah! Or a husband who hasn't proclaimed himself the Man of the House or the King! My husband keeps telling me he's the King and I'm nuthin. I tell him then you're the King of Nuthin!

At our wedding reception I asked my new father-in-law when he wanted to sign over the title.

He and I thought it was funny…
