Can you hail Ante over at EL and ask him to save a few of these doves, if he's able? Thanks.

You should post this article there. The more that knows, the better. But maybe PM him too just in case he misses it. Thanks!

Um......I don't seem able to learn how to post articles... icon_juice.gif

I will try to PM him, though.

Stilll???? What about the lesson I gave you. Now lookie here, you need to learn. You know how to click on a link and it opens right? So once you have the article page on your screen, go to the top where the http address window is (very top of your screen). With your mouse curser, right click anywhere on that address that starts with http and you'll see the whole thing turns blue or some color which means it's selected. While you right click it a drop down window show up which says cut, copy, delete, etc. You chose COPY. Now you've got this address saved on an invisible clipboard. Go to EL and post a message. In the message box right click on your mouse again & chose PASTE and voila!! The link that was was on your invisible clipboard now is pasted to that message box for anyone to click and open. It's an easy copy/paste procedure. Elementary dear Watson. Will you try it?
iowanic
I'll try.

Grace
You can even just practice here on this board. Go up to the address window (http://www...) and right click on it, choose copy...then come here to the message box, place your mouse curser anywhere, then right click again and choose Paste. Voila. The link to this board is copy & pasted into this box.

I just did it here below. This is the address to this board and direct message box.

Once again, didn't work.
Is this message box the thing up in the upper right corner title 'new messages'?

Let's start fresh. I'm here writing a post to you now, in this message box. This area I'm typing in is the message box for lack of not knowing what else to call it lol.
Now I'm taking my mouse from here up to the web address window on top of your screen that says http://www.ethicdiscussion.com"]http://www.ethicdiscussion.com etc. etc. This is also called a url. My mouse is up there and the arrow or cursor is pointing to the fmb address so I right click my mouse anywhere on that web address, anywhere at all, and it turns a different color, it is now highlighted in blue, which means it's selected. At the same time you are holding down the right clicker on your mouse, you'll also see a drop down window appear which gives options to cut, copy, paste, delete, etc.
Chose copy.
Then I bring my mouse back here in this message box I'm typing in and put my mouse cursor anywhere (usually at the beginning of a blank line versus in the middle of your words, then I right click on my mouse again and this time the drop down window gives me the choice to paste that url address I just copied. So I chose paste and voila.. it copied and pasted fmb's address here in this box (see it below) Actually this address below is the address not only to this board, but to this post I'm doing to you because that's the exact location of the url address at the time I copied and pasted it. This message box not the home page of fmg. If anyone clicked on the link below, it would take them right here to our exhange.

You can go to any location on the internet, let's say a newspaper online article, and that url/address at the top of the page the article is on, is it's internet location or link. If you wanted someone else to read it here, you would just copy the url/address as I instructed above and paste it in the message box you were typing your post in at the time.
iowanic
Give me a bit: I'll give it a go.

Grace
here, read this (I'm wondering too if maybe when you right click on the web address above it's not highlighting it? Maybe you need to do this:

No, you can copy the link from here (easier to open the article by clicking the link I posted). Then go to the top and use the copy thingy. Then just go to EL like you normally would, start a new post or thread or even a PM to Ante. When you're in the message box area typing, right click your mouse and chose paste. Voila. It just stays on an invisible clipboard in a holding pattern after you copy it and will wait til you're ready to paste it somewhere. Won't time out (well it might after a day or 2 lol).
