Wow. That .223 ammo has gone through the roof.
RF
And except for Wolf, all their .30 Carbine stuff is out of stock.
Frankie
it ain't just 223 , try finding bulk for any thing . even 22lr is a bitch to get .

any thing gun/ammo related has gone through the roof . if you can find it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you find a gun to buy you still have a problem finding ammo for it . i can't find ammo for a 45 , 9mm or 357 that's worth having.

I've been making a habit of going into Walmart once a week and buying a 550 brick of .22 LR. The European Starlings are making me use more than I should. There's a new pawn shop that's opened near my house and the lady who runs it gets me .223 FMJ for around $15 for a box of 25. Another avenue I've found that helps is the Classifieds in the local newspapers. I bought 500 rounds of .38 Super the other day for $30 dollars.

Heh, I have a shipment en route from Cheaper Than Dirt at this moment. Not ammo though, they're too expensive and they don't have shit in stock right now.

Here's a good site to use for ammo....

Just enter your zip code and calibler you're lookin for

.38 Super? That's sort of a rare chambering isn't it? Or has it become more popular? I recall that years ago it was most popular south of the border given their stringent regulations banning the posession of any military chamberings. Do you shoot it out of a 1911 of some sort?

For just years and years you could buy bricks of loss leader .22s like Thunderbolts, Lightnings, Wildcats for just under 10 bucks. Then they nearly doubled in price overnight.
