=============
Only 3 days left to register for IWRC's new online course, Euthanasia in Wildilfe Rehabilitation!
New to online training? All of IWRC's online classes are taught in real time by instructors, just like in a traditional classroom but without the travel and related demands on time and finances. All you need is a computer, access to the Internet and a telephone. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about effective fluid therapy techniques alongside students around the world!
“The online format is wonderful. I had serious doubts but the live sessions were pretty darn close to being in a classroom.â€
“I will admit, I was a bit skeptical about trying to take a course with a phone in one hand in front of the computer. I also wondered if the material to be presented would come across on a computer. I was very pleasantly surprised that it all worked amazingly well."
Developed specifically for wildlife rehabilitators, IWRC's Euthanasia in Wildlife Rehabilitation provides participants with information about the decision making process and ethical issues relating to euthanasia and wildlife, as well as the technical aspects of performing euthanasia. Topics include, but are not limited to: understanding the importance and necessity of euthanasia in wildlife rehabilitation, how to make informed, balanced decisions concerning euthanasia, and understanding the physiologic mechanisms behind the main categories of euthanasia methods. For a complete description or to register, go to http://www.iwrc-online.org/training/catalog.html
This two-session class will take place on March 24 & 31 (live sesions will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Eastern). Scheduling conflict? No problem--all live sessions are recorded and available to registered students for at least two weeks after the course is completed. Registration closes on Monday, March 23, 2009.
