RF, we can add this to my list of deer who should not be hunted.

Dumbfucker shitbag. He should have been fined $40,000 and his hunting rights and gun taken away forever.

Vt. hunter busted for bolting antlers on doe
The Associated Press

BURLINGTON, Vt. — A man who bolted antlers to the head of a dead doe and posed for a photograph with the deer was fined $400 and jailed for game violations.

Marcel Fournier, 19, shot the deer the evening of Nov. 22 and used lag bolts and epoxy to attach a 10-point rack, officials said. He then checked in the kill as lawful game at Barnie’s Market.

It’s illegal to kill an antlerless deer, and it’s also illegal to hunt at night.

The Concord resident admitted to the killing and led a game warden to the deer’s remains after an anonymous caller alerted authorities. Fournier said he had “quite a time” drilling and fastening the antlers, authorities said.

Game warden David Gregory said the antlers didn’t look or feel right.

Col. David LeCours, chief warden of the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, said the size of the antlers relative to the size of the deer seemed off.

“Something wasn’t natural about them, in addition to the fact that they weren’t natural,” he said.

Fournier was sentenced to 10 days in jail Feb. 18 for taking a deer in a closed season.

Deer with antlers bolted on their heads? Uh....okay.

Dead animals should not be hunted? I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

Yes, dead animals should be left on the ground so they may transport peacefully to The Rainbow Bridge, where they are restored to health and vigor and may frolic in the heavenly woods with their recently poached family members.

RF
From what I've seen of dead animals left laying out in the woods and such, there's not much resting in peace going on there.

Which reminds me. Running a brush hog mower over a dead cow in an effort to get rid of it is not a good idea.
Grace
I'm not sure what a brush hog mower is and at the risk of sounding like Nic (speaking of whom seems to be AWOL), does it work running over and disposing of hogs?

It's a large rotary mower powered by the tractor that pulls it. 6 foot diameter is a common size. The blades are hinged so that they can strike small tree stumps etc with less possibility of damaging the mower. Two or three inch size young trees can be mowed over with one, though it makes a lot of commotion. Not half as much commotion as a dead, bloated cow though.

Who would run over a dead bloated cow at the risk of having it explode all over oneself?? Don't tell me. icon_lmao.gif

It's the smell that you will remember for a long time. Been maybe 30 years now and I still remember it.
Grace
I know that smell, or similar. Nothing like it. We've had to rip up our deck planks about 12 times to dispose of dead bloated possums. When it's 90 out they're really ripe.

I don't know if you do. Imagine a 900 pound dead possum suddenly ground up and spread out over a couple hundred square feet.
