Actually, I didn't figure you guys did that much. Just yankin your chain.

RF I had a dream about you the other night. I usually don't remember dreams and don't remember much of this one, and even less now, except you showed up wherever, some house I must have lived in, Ori and me were in it. You just showed up in a old relic of a car, but restored (maybe a Chevy of some sort, blue?), you had the window down, you were driving past looking for us, your elbow resting out the window. You were wearing that military hat you wore in a picture you posted once. The gist of the dream was you just showed up and I had just woken up and didn't want you to see me for the first time without being fixed up. I needed to hide from you. I don't remember what Ori was doing now. But you kept drivin around passing the house and I just had this need to hide. Weird eh?

I am trying to trip you up at least. Though it seems to be a concentrated and cooperative effort, if not an entirely coordinated one -- RF and I have exchanged roughly the same number of PM as you and I have in all these years. My last sentence reminded me, as far as the wordsmith thing goes, RF isn't obsessed with alliteration the way I am.

And we both seem to be Monty Python fans. Hmmm... Perhaps one of us is a product of the other's imagination. Be gone veiled apparition! You're just my mind finishing unravelling.

Shit. E Link doesn't store posts ad infinitum like this one. After mentioning alliteration I wanted to link to a thread on alliteration Origam started there years ago. Pardon my hubris, but I strung somewhere on the order of 20 words starting with "D" into a single cohesive sentence. Fuck, frightfully few feign fathom the fabulous flood of fantastic fun found forming that from its foundation.

That kind of shit, when done on the fly (in admittedly shorter doses) drives my coworkers -- and that woman that lives at my house, however she should be termed -- crazy. There's something about hearing an unchanging flood of consonants that's unnerving.

Because brevity- brave brevity- is the bane of bilious bunk bestowed by brass balled boardists betraying bovine brains.

Or something like that.

BTW XX. You are very handy with written communication. You're extremely intelligent and are able to express that intelligence. You have imagination, a good sense of humor and a quick wit. (Stop me if this gets too gay.)

Anyway, how's come you never wrote a story here?

Thank you, back atya only more so, but things are starting to get a little gay.

I've never written a story here becaus, and it pains me to admit it... I'm illiterate. Really I just never took the time. I've never tried much fiction writing. I'll have to make a contribution the next time something strikes my fancy.

If I were going to pretend to be someone else on the internet it wouldn't be a bluegrass-lovin' sewer engineer from the mountains whose favorite hobbies are math and math...

Or would I?

BTW I had a helluva bad dream the other night.. My parents were at my house and I was setting at the computer playin the guitar trying to learn a song......Mom and dad were settin at my kitchen table. ....dad got up walked over to mom. pulled a 38 and shot her in the face. It seemed real enough I could actually see her lower jaw fly off. I fuckin hate dreams like that...too real feeling.

Although Ori's looked like this:

We must have been having a slumber party cause we were sharing a very small twin bed. Oh!! Just remembered there was a

.. we were trying to scare each other. Ori kept jumping on me, scared out of her wits. I can't remember the rest but when I woke up I was all hot and sweaty.

What a nightmare. Dreams usually mean the opposite though. So I heard.
