What the hell is a "bambulance"?

This is the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

Is this one of those "clean kills" hunters brag about?

Deer gets revenge after Mo. hunter shoots him

The Associated Press

SEDALIA, Mo. – A hunter bagged a big buck on the second day of firearms season, but the kill caused him a lot of pain. Randy Goodman, 49, said he thought two [not very] well-placed shots with his .270-caliber rifle had killed the buck on Nov. 19. Goodman said the deer looked dead to him, but seconds later the nine-point, 240-pound animal came to life.

The buck rose up, knocked Goodman down and attacked him with his antlers in what the veteran hunter called "15 seconds of hell." The deer ran a short distance and went down, and died after Goodman fired two more shots.

Soon Goodman started feeling dizzy and noticed his vest was soaked in blood.

So he reached his truck and drove to a hospital, where he received seven staples in his scalp and was treated for a slight concussion and bruises.

[The board where I read this included this advice from another "hunter": "The hunter is not the sharpest bowling ball in the rack. I learned that you wait about 30 minutes before you even approach the animal. The you approach quietly and from behind and then prod the animal with a stick."

It never even occurs to you that you portray yourself as a despicable excuse for a human being, does it?
RF
It wouldn't matter to her if she did realize it. She's utterly consumed with hatred for herself and others.

And it's utterly amazing in a very pitiful way. I feel a lot of sympathy for the poor thing. Perhaps if she were capable of said emotion she wouldn't be in such a sorry shape.

Do you need a friend, dear?

when you toss a rat into a raptor, does the bird always make an instant kill? does it Sometimes make an instant kill? Or does it occasionally make one? Why are you morally superior to the hunter? Why are you such a coward?

BTW barb... I shoot my bow as much as possible... I can consistently hit a quarter at 20 yards. I mean 50 out of 60 shots and I can shoot hundreds in a row without missing a circle 3 inches across. I shot a doe this year and she moved right as I shot. The arrow hit her high and back burying in her spine... She dropped in her tracks but was completely concious and bleating like crazy.. I had to climb down and walk up to her and put an arrow through her heart. So no matter how much you practise and how careful you are things happen.. I even bet that EVERY GREAT ONCE IN A WHILE one of your rats escapes.

read it again... when we shoot leagues, there is a circle in a circle in a circle...the inner circle ( the small one) I can hit about 50 out of 60 times.. I have shot 300 in a row without getting outside the second circle ( the 3 or so inch one)...get it?
Frankie
Barb ,,, had that happen to me before . funny how they belloow(sp) like a calf right before their necks pops .

drove my knife into one's eye one time , had a hell of a time getting my knife out .

my brother-in-law shot two legs off of a big buck ,,, when i got there he had the deer in a leg lock holding the deer's head . i told him that day he needed more shells . he only had two lol

As a matter of fact, she once told some of us a funny story about a rat that was so terrified that it leapt from the cage and ran right up her leg. Now that rat must have been some HELLUVA terrified to be sure.

You know....to run into a bush like that one.

Actually according to her story the rat never got that high RF. I think the poor tyke looked upward in that general direction and rocketed from her knee into a bush that was on the other side of a fence that was 20 feet high. I can understand Binky's motivational impetus. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR>>>> icon_pimp.gif icon_bottumup.gif

If she actually went into details about how high it got up her leg, I'm sure I have repressed those memories to preserve my sanity.
