Yep, that one took us by surprise. I'm amazed we got him into the boat because we didn't have any wire leaders on the line...just monofilment, swivel, lure. Jumped out of the water twice before we got him in too. He measured 34inches.

Don't know, didn't weigh him just measured him. First one I ever caught. My brother knows someone in the fishing camp that knows how to clean them to get the bones out and that guy said they're good eating. So, I left him with my bro and took some extra walleye :-)

I'm planning on hitting the river this coming weekend. If I do any good, I'll see about posting some pics.

Yeah, would love to see some of what ya'll river rats pull out of that muddy water.
