Ive been told by someone on another board that Donnie passed away. Can anyone confirm or deny this situation?

I can neither confirm nor deny.

What I know so far is that a few of us looked for Donnie, there was an article found about a Donnie Macleod passing away but it was dated from a couple years back.. gave us a start when we found it but a sigh of relief when the dates were noticed.

There's a guy on Enviro who claims to know Donnie is dead.. but I haven't seen any confirmation other than he heard from someone on a hunting board or some such.

VL said she talked to someone who works at the same place as Donnie, and Donnie's computer is kaput and that's why he isn't on.

This person from another board just reiterated to me now via PM, that he knew someone that lived in Donnie's area who read in a local paper a hunter, Donnie MacLeod, died of a heart attack. This was back when he went missing (not from a few years ago). His last post was May 5, 2006.

Interesting. I'll have to dig around and see what I can find out. The only thing I've found so far about a heart attack is the one from a couple years ago.

Too bad the source isn't reliable. He's just running his mouth in wishful thinking. Remember, Xblack used to be Phantomuk, and he hated Donnie.

I'm not so sure XBlack was phantomuk. That could have been a rumor that was squelched.

If it was squelched, I never saw the evidence. They are way too much alike to be different posters. It's one of those things I can't prove, but I don't have much room for doubt.

At least this story had a happy ending.
